As a result of legislation (SB 42-Dexter Mosely Act, O.C.G.A. § 20-2-319.6) effective July 1, 2021, home study students in grades 6-12 have the option to participate in competitive extracurricular or interscholastic activities in Fannin County Schools.  Parents/guardians who desire for their home study student to participate in a competitive extracurricular or interscholastic activity with FCSS must complete this request form at least 30 days before the first day of the semester when the child will enroll and participate in the extracurricular or interscholastic activity.

Schedule an appointment with the Central Registrar to complete your student's registration.

All students attending Fannin County Schools must be legal residents of Fannin County except as otherwise provided by board policy, or state or federal law.  A resident student who becomes a nonresident may continue attending Fannin County Schools provided certain guidelines are met.  Parents/guardians of a student who has moved out of the school district may initiate this request by completing this form.

FCHS Students: Stop by the front office to fill out a request form on the computer. We’ll let you know as soon as your documents are ready—most are available within 24 hours!

FCMS Students: Forms can be requested with the school registrar.
