Open House for all incoming 9th graders

Fannin County High School will host a special Open House for all incoming 9th graders on Tuesday evening, August 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.   Students and parents can start picking up class schedules at 4:45 in the lobby of the Performing Arts Center. The orientation will start at 5:00 with information being delivered by FCHS Administration. Afterwards, students and parents will participate in a “mock day” by attending each class for approximately 15 minutes. During the class time, teachers will provide students with a syllabus and the expectations for their class.

This Open House will provide Incoming 9th graders and parents the opportunity to learn the layout of the school and meet teachers on a more personal basis. If a 9th grader is unable to attend on Tuesday evening, they of course, can attend the Upperclassmen Open House on Wednesday, August 5, from 1 to 5:00 p.m. However, students will not participate in a “mock day” schedule on Wednesday.

All 9th grade students and parents are invited and highly encouraged to attend this Special Open House on Tuesday evening, August 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. We look forward to meeting you!   For more information contact the school or view the school website.
