Dear Parents:

I am sure most of you have all heard or seen on the news the recent increase of reported cases of MRSA that is spreading throughout the nation and showing up in schools. The local health department and CDC have guidelines that are suggested to prevent and decrease the spread of MRSA. We ask that you take a few minutes and read over the information found at the link below.

We always have the well being of our students and staff in mind. We are taking extra steps in making you are aware of MRSA by sending out these guidelines. As always, we are available to hear your concerns and comments. As of today we have not had any cases of MRSA reported in our school system.

Sincerely,

Sandy Acker, RN
